    I don't want to step on Marco's toes or anything, but I think he should talk to Oxford about having a 275 race there- maybe in September. I would go.

    No offense to you Nick, but I will not go there to run an index class. I run Open Comp at the NMRA races which is a little better than Index racing IMO, but I only do that because there is no Heads-up class for the car I am driving now.

    no offense taken kevin, index racing is not for everyone,personally i like all heads up!maybe we can combine a 275 race with our index race together????

    actually jack pereria went in the 30's once i think,but true it seems to scare some people away,cause they think they don't have a chance.it was me that came up with it,but before the race at the drivers meeting i asked anyone if they wanted to change it, everybody said no.now if need be we can change it to a 5.50-index, but everybody has to be on the same page!

    5.40 doesn't sound too bad. Back in the day with my SBF nitrous/powerglide car I ran 8.56 @ 163. The 1/8 mile was 5.42 @ 128. But we weren't index racing then. But that would be a good 8.50/5.40 combo.

    Nick you were at the night race??? Just seems the index should have been a .50 at epping considering no one knew what the index was going to be till we got to the lanes... Most 8.50 cars seem to run in the 50's...

    Ive been harping on my car's suspension for months, changed a few things a few weeks ago and a little progress but boy...went to Oxford and the car is working EXCELLENT. wtf NED?? where is the track prep???? thats been my problem all along!

    i was not at the night race, its been brought to my attention,that some people are a little scared to come up to oxford to race cause the 5.30-index!, well maybe i can change it to a 5.40-class?!?! but lets face it, its still on the 1/8-mile and it make for some tight racing!!...what say everybody??? i want to hear from racers that will actually come up to race,not the people that are afraid and won't show! hell, i am to slow for the 5.30-class and too fast for the 6.0-class,but i still come up there to run!! track HOOKS!! enough said!!

    Just got back from NED rentral...track sucked again!!!

    Leaving next Wednesday for Zmax...hoping at least 1 of the 4 lanes there will hook good.

    does not suprise me about the track surface on a rental kevin, the last few i did this year sucked also!

    i have not ran the valley in about 12-15 yrs!used to do rentals up there,track was good for me back then,hell i have been want'ing to go up there for a TNT ,i have my NHRA lic. i will hit it one time before the season ends!
