well i got my oil temp situation fixed, the charging system is fixed and it cruises great around town and on the highway. i have 10 year old b.f.g 275 d.r.'s and no rollcage. no extra $ to buy new mickeys but if i can get a u haul trailer i may bring it up there. i will be going no matter what.

The slicks are off and the Shelby is now setup for the radials and ready to roll this weekend.

    See everyone there on Saturday!!!

Hopefully the weather is good and we get more than one qualifying pass this time.

I'm a little iffy at this point, but have set aside the day tomorrow along with some dyno time to get to the bottom of why the car is running so poorly right now. Wish me luck...already have the 275's mounted.

Man I wish I had the time and money right now I'd rip off my big whipple and replace it with a big turbo and see how fast I can go with my factory cobra crank, rods, and pistons :-P

Your better off with the blower then a turbo in the 1/8 mile

The issue with the Whipple is it doesn't push enough air to make the horsepower to be competitive. I would convert to a procharger before turbo myself

Make more tq with the screw and roots style blowers. That's what u need on a full weight car.

Tires were mounted for the last race...the forecast kept him away that day. We will both be there tomorrow.
